Forever
for generations
A chapter in progress
Private alwaysA living memoir, not a scrapbook.
Chronicle keeps the image, the context, the people, and the feeling of the day together.
What Chronicle keeps
Photos, voice, names, dates, and the feeling of the day.
Three creation modes
Start from photos, a guided interview, or a memory written from scratch.
Designed to be kept
Read online, share privately, or print when the Chronicle is ready.
The book that lasts
A shoebox of photos is not a family history.
A Chronicle is.
Family photos fade. Hard drives fail. The stories told at the dinner table are forgotten when the people who told them are gone. The Chronicles turns those photos and memories into a permanent, printed family history book — one your grandchildren will still be reading.
Most family history projects never get finished. The Chronicles is designed so that yours actually does.
See what you get
This is what a chapter looks like
Written from a few photos and a handful of sentences. Nothing more.
Summer · 2019
The July We Drove North
The lake, late afternoon
The July heat had a particular quality that summer — thick and golden, the kind that made the lake look like hammered copper in the late afternoon.
When the car door opened and the smell of pine and lake water came rushing in, Emma was awake instantly. “We're here,” she breathed — not as a question, but as a kind of small, private thanksgiving.
How it works
From one photo to a finished chapter
The whole process takes about three minutes. Here's what it looks like.
Step 1
Pick any photo
One is enough to start. The Chronicles reads the date and location automatically — you don't have to remember either.
Step 2
Confirm what belongs together
Takes about ten seconds. Group the moment however it feels right — by day, by trip, by memory.
Step 3
Tell it what you remember
Two or three sentences is genuinely enough. Names, a feeling, a detail that only your family would know. That's the whole input.
Step 4
Your chapter is ready
A beautifully written chapter appears in seconds. Read it, share it privately, or save it for the printed book when you're ready.
Why it lands
The best family histories aren't written.
They're remembered — and then preserved.
Traditional family history projects stall at the blank page. The Chronicles starts from photos — the evidence of a life already lived — and writes the story around them. The result isn't a list of dates. It's a book that reads like the family you actually know.
Built for families, not writers
A family history book that writes itself.
Most family history projects take years and never get finished. The Chronicles is designed to produce a real, printable book from exactly the photos and memories you already have — without requiring anyone to write a word.
Built for print from day one
Every Chronicle is formatted to become a beautiful printed book. Typography, chapter layouts, and photo placement are all designed with the printed page in mind — not just a screen. What you see is what you'll hold.
No writing, no interviews, no transcription
Traditional family history projects stall because they ask too much. The Chronicles asks only for photos and a few memories per chapter. The AI does everything else — and produces chapters worth reading on the first pass.
Grows with each generation
Start with your grandparents' stories and keep adding. Every new family member, every new milestone becomes a new chapter in a Chronicle that grows with your family for decades. The book is never truly finished — and that's the point.
Order your book whenever you're ready
There's no deadline and no minimum chapter count. Add chapters when you can, and order the printed book when the Chronicle feels ready — whether that's six months from now or six years. The book waits for you.
The gift that lasts
Give them something
worth keeping forever.
The Chronicles makes an extraordinary gift for the people whose stories matter most. Start one for a parent, a grandparent, or your whole family — and give them a place to put everything they've always meant to write down.

Common questions
Everything you'd want to know
What does the printed family history book look like?
It's a professionally printed hardback or paperback with a custom cover, chapter headings, and your photos embedded throughout. The design is clean and literary — the kind of book that looks at home on a shelf and is actually read, not stored in a drawer.
How many photos can I include in the family history book?
Up to five photos per chapter, with no limit on chapters. A typical Chronicle book includes dozens of photos spread across its chapters — enough to tell a full family history across generations, eras, and places.
Can multiple family members contribute to the same book?
Yes. The Family plan allows up to five contributors — all writing chapters, uploading photos, and adding to the same Chronicle. It's especially powerful for capturing stories from different family members who each hold a different piece of the history.
Is there a minimum number of chapters before I can print?
No minimum. You can order a printed book with a single chapter if you want. Most families wait until the Chronicle feels substantially complete — but there's no requirement and no deadline.
Can I add a dedication or family introduction to the book?
Yes. The Chronicles includes a cover settings page where you can add a family dedication, a cover photo, and a custom family name. These appear as the opening pages of the printed book.
What if I want to add more chapters after I've already printed?
Print whenever you like and print again later. Each new printing reflects the Chronicle as it stands at that point in time. Many families treat annual or milestone printings as a tradition — a new edition for each chapter of their family's life.
Is the family history book private?
Completely. Your Chronicle is never visible to anyone outside your family. The only way to share is via a private link you generate — revocable at any time, visible only to those with the exact link.
